Nordsolar e.V. has been uniting the expertise of over 50 companies since 1988. These are mainly craft businesses, but also trade and industry, primarily from the northern half of Germany. We believe firmly that renewable energy is one of the most important keys for a livable future.
We tackle things. For about four decades we have been driving the development of ecological building technology.
We share our experiences and learnings and see this training as an ongoing process. This is becoming more and more important as the demands on modern building technology are continually increasing. Nowadays homeowners have access to technologies like photovoltaics, batteries, heat pumps, charging stations or biomass boilers. All these components need to be planned, combined and controlled smartly.

We meet for conferences and excursions on a regular basis. Not only with German but also with European colleagues. And we share our experiences with the next generation. Most of our members employ apprentices.
